New for 2007 is the Basic ClearRoute Refresher Course and Assessment. This is a half day review of the main ClearRoute options, followed by the Basic ClearRoute assesment. It is perfect for those wishing to renew their Basic ClearRoute Certification. It is also suitable for experienced ClearRoute users who wish to take the assessment for the first time.
The one-day Professional ClearRoute™ course covers more advanced functions, most of which are only available in the full version of ClearRoute™. This course is designed so that customers who have previously attended a Basic ClearRoute™ course can attend and update their knowledge. Alternatively the two courses (Basic and Professional) can be attended consecutively to make up a complete ClearRoute™ course.
Following feedback from delegates, the Using Tilting Trains with ClearRoute™ course has been improved and extended. This is now a one and a half day course including more practical exercises and examples. The first morning covers the theory of tilting trains and the afternoon shows how to use tilting trains with ClearRoute.
All courses include formal assessment and successful delegates receive a certificate to certify that they have achieved a specified level of achievement.
For experienced ClearRoute™ users Laser Rail offers the Basic ClearRoute™ Assessment and the Professional ClearRoute™ Assessment without training. These include no training prior to the assessment(s).

Laser Rail are considering developing a new course in Gauging Principles. This would be a 3 day course exploring the principles of gauging, current gauging methodologies, standards and likely future developments.
The aim would be to cover the ‘why’ as well as the ‘how to’ thus allowing participants to make informed decisions about the management of clearances.
The course would be aimed at those who are new to gauging or those who have been involved for a while, but have had no formal training in the background to the use of ClearRoute.
